Job Description - SEN Teaching Assistant Caerphilly

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Caerphilly
Pay Rate: £83.34 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only

Role and Responsibilities: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN, including personal care.
Supporting students with their social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and interaction.
Helping to create a safe and supportive classroom environment.
Monitoring and recording students' progress, providing feedback to teachers.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
