Hays Education are working in partnership with a specialist educational setting in Coventry to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time roles starting in September.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, communication needs, and physical disabilities. You will play a key role in helping students access learning, build independence, and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.

Your new role

Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting with classroom activities and learning programmes
Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
Supporting students with communication and emotional regulation
Working closely with teachers and other professionals to meet individual learning needs
Promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
What you'll need to succeed

Experience working with children, young people, or adults with additional needs is essential
A patient, caring, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with SEN
Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
