Day Rate: £105 - £115 per day

Contract: Long-term to permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Start Date: September 2025

Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with children with complex additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive primary setting.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex SEND across both small group and mainstream settings. The successful candidate will work as part of a close-knit team, providing tailored support to children from Reception to Year 4. This is a rewarding role for someone who is confident using emotion coaching techniques, restorative practices and child-centred strategies to help pupils thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group support for children with additional needs
• Use emotion coaching and restorative approaches to support behaviour and wellbeing
• Help plan and deliver personalised learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
• Track progress and communicate regularly with teaching staff
• Create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment that encourages engagement and growth

What We're Looking For

• A relevant Level 3 qualification (Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare, or equivalent)
• Experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a school or early years environment
• Strong understanding of child development and inclusive practice
• Calm, empathetic and team-focused with excellent communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality and the wellbeing of all pupils
