Role Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position at a vibrant secondary school in Bromley


• Provide support for students with various special educational needs, both in the classroom and through one-to-one or small group interventions


• Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons that are differentiated to meet the individual needs of students


• Help implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to track student progress and set meaningful targets


• Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging students to engage, participate, and achieve their potential


• Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, promoting confidence and self-esteem


• Collaborate with SENCO, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the best possible support

Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar SEN support role is desirable


• A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs


• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills


• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs


• A proactive and positive approach to supporting students’ learning and well-being


• Enhanced DBS check required
