SEN Tutor - Rochester Part-Time

Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Tutor to support a student in Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator who enjoys creating engaging, personalised learning and wants the freedom to shape the curriculum around an individual student's needs.

About the Role

As the tutor, you will take the lead in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the student's abilities, interests and learning needs. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of the curriculum, adapting your approach to help the student build confidence, develop their skills and make meaningful progress.

You will ideally have experience working with children with SEN, although previous tuition or teaching experience is essential.

What We're Looking For

Mandatory: Previous experience in teaching or private tuition

Preferably, experience working with children and young people with SEN

A patient, encouraging and adaptable approach

The ability to plan engaging, personalised lessons

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers and achieve their potential

The confidence to take ownership of the student's learning and curriculum
