SENCO | School in East London | September Start Permanent | Full Time A high performing school in East London is seeking an experienced and committed SENCO (Special Needs Co-ordinator) from September. This is a key appointment within a well established school community, offering the opportunity to lead and develop SEND provision with a strong focus on inclusion, pupil outcomes and whole school impact. The role would suit an experienced SENCO looking for a permanent position, though there is also flexibility to consider a short term appointment (autumn term) for a senior leader between roles. The Role -Lead and manage SEND provision across the school -Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice -Work closely with SLT to drive inclusive teaching and learning -Support staff in developing effective strategies for pupils with additional needs -Build strong relationships with families and external agencies The Candidate -Qualified SENCo (or working towards the qualification) -Experience within a secondary school setting -Strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practice -A confident leader with the ability to influence and support colleagues -Committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners The School This is a well run and ambitious school with a clear focus on high expectations and strong pastoral support.
