SENDCO Required in Haringey – January Start

£63,709 - £69,278 | Leadership Scale 1–5 (Inner London)

Are you an experienced and committed SENDCO looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school?

A secondary school in Haringey is looking to appoint a dedicated SENDCO to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2027.

The start date is negotiable for the right candidate, with the opportunity to start on a temporary basis from October 2026 for candidates who are available immediately.

The Role:

Full-time, permanent SENDCO position

January 2027 start, with an earlier start negotiable

Temporary opportunity available from October for immediate candidates

Leading and coordinating SEND provision across the school

Working closely with teachers, senior leaders, parents/carers and external agencies

Supporting the progress, inclusion and wellbeing of pupils with SEND

Contributing to the strategic development of the school's SEND provision

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Relevant SENDCO/NASENCO experience or qualification

Experience working within a secondary school setting

Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and provision

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
