Your Role as SENCO:
- Lead the SEN department and ensure high-quality provision for all students with additional needs
- Oversee the development and implementation of Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Support and train teachers to differentiate lessons and implement inclusive strategies
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure students receive the necessary support
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for SEN provision
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with SENCO accreditation (or willingness to obtain it)
- Strong leadership skills and experience in supporting students with SEND
- Excellent understanding of SEN legislation and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents
- A passion for inclusion and ensuring every student reaches their potential
