Academics is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking a dedicated SENCo to lead and develop its SEND provision.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive leadership team where inclusion is at the heart of school life. You'll play a key role in shaping SEND strategy, supporting staff, delivering targeted interventions, and ensuring every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.
The Role:
Lead and manage SEND provision across the school. Work closely with senior leaders to drive an inclusive approach. Support teachers and coordinate effective interventions. Deliver small-group intervention sessions and occasional cover teaching. Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.
We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). NASENCo qualification (or equivalent). Experience leading SEND provision, ideally within a primary setting. Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive practice.
