Job Title: SEND Teacher (QTS) – English and ICT
Location: Gateshead
Start Date: 24th August
Salary: £180 - £220 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school in Gateshead that provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for children and young people aged 5 to 20 years. The school is committed to helping every student reach their full potential through personalised learning, high-quality teaching and a nurturing approach that promotes independence and confidence.

The school is looking to appoint a permanent SEND Teacher (QTS) – English and ICT from 24th August. The successful SEND Teacher will teach English and ICT across a range of age groups, adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs while supporting students with additional needs and encouraging positive outcomes both academically and personally.

The successful SEND Teacher (QTS) – English and ICT will have:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching English and ICT within a UK school
Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs
Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
The ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
A positive, patient and flexible approach
