SEND Leader Teacher - ARP Class Brent

Location: Brent (calm urban setting)
Start: September 2025 | Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Inner London MPS?2-5 + SEN Allowance (£2,679-£5,285) + possible TLR (£9,782-£16,553)

A mainstream two-form-entry primary with an ARP specifically for autistic pupils. Class sizes of 8-10 with 3 adults per class. The school follows the national curriculum and is on a journey toward greater inclusivity.

• Lead ARP class: curriculum planning, delivering differentiated lessons

• Manage EHCP reviews and meet with parents, therapists, Brent SENAS

• Mentor 2 TAs and model outstanding SEND practice school-wide

• Contribute to whole-school SEND strategy, training, and inclusive improvement

• QTS with proven SEND expertise (particularly ASD)

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building

• Reflective, resilient, with commitment to improving outcomes

• Impactful leadership in a specialist community

• Excellent staff-to-pupil ratio and resources

• Strong CPD, including leadership pathways

• Supportive SEND team and inclusive ethos
