SEND Learning Support Assistant

A  school in Trowbridge is looking for a SEND LSA to start immediately on a long term contract. Pay rate is between £100 and £115 per day depending on experience. 

A SEND LSA supports pupils with additional needs such as autism, communication difficulties, or moderate learning difficulties. You’ll usually work 1:1 or in small groups, helping pupils access lessons and making sure they don’t get left behind.

Sometimes this means breaking work down into smaller steps, using visual aids, or giving extra explanations. Other times it means helping with daily routines, building confidence, or managing transitions between activities.

The school has a resource base and a dedicated team which work to ensure every child can succeed. Staff say the school provides strong training and a collaborative environment where support staff are valued and supported.
