We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join our Learning Support Department and ASD Resource. This role involves teaching young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), requiring a commitment to ensuring students make good progress through engaging, creative, and stimulating teaching.

• Plan, resource, and deliver tailored curriculum lessons to students with additional learning needs who may not fully access the core mainstream curriculum.
• Supervise the work of teaching assistants assigned to support lessons.
• Complete Exam Access Arrangements for relevant students and submit supporting evidence to exam boards.
• Ensure the learning and achievement of all students in assigned classes, maintaining high standards in work and conduct.
• Build respectful relationships with students, treating them with dignity and observing professional boundaries.
• Collaborate effectively with parents/carers, colleagues, and external agencies to promote students' best interests.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on SEND or relevant teaching experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and support students with special educational needs.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver creative and stimulating lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships based on mutual respect.
