We are pleased to partner with a dedicated education company based in Wimbledon, London, to recruit a Contract SEND Teacher specialising in primary-aged learners with complex needs. This is a valuable opportunity for an experienced teacher committed to supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and associated special educational needs.

Location: Wimbledon, London
Salary: £168 - £243 per day (TBC)
About the Role
This contract role is based within a sympathetic and specialised academy environment dedicated to SEND education. The successful candidate will provide tailored teaching and support to primary pupils with MLD, SLD, PMLD, and complex communication needs such as SLCN. Your expertise will help create a nurturing and stimulating environment, fostering meaningful learning experiences for pupils with diverse needs.
Candidate Profile
Hold QTS / QTLS status within the UK education system
Proven experience working with learners with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Understanding of Special Educational Needs, with a focus on complex needs and communication challenges
Empathetic, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
Ability to work collaboratively within a dedicated team
