Unique School Solutions is supporting a large primary school in the S13 area of Sheffield to appoint an enthusiastic and talented SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis from ASAP. This is a full-time, long-term ongoing role.

The role:

* Supporting SEND students to access curriculum content within a classroom environment

* Working on a 1:1 basis with students with SEND needs including Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and SEMH needs

* Supporting with the design and delivery of educational resources

* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

* Encourage student confidence, independence, and participation

* Working as part of the SEND team

* Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety policies at all times

Essential requirements for the role:

* Previous/recent experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a school environment

* Experience working with students with a range of SEND needs

* The ability to work with small groups of students supporting learning

* The ability to work with students on a 1:1 basis supporting learning
