You will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, both in and out of the classroom. This includes working one-to-one and in small groups, helping students to build confidence, manage emotions, and engage positively in their learning.

• Has previous experience supporting SEND/SEMH learners, ideally in a school or alternative provision setting.

• Is patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a calm and consistent approach to behaviour management.

• Can build trusting relationships with students while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Works well in a team, but is also able to use their initiative and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Is passionate about making education accessible to all young people, regardless of background or ability.
