Senior Account Executive - RetailTech Startup (SaaS)
c£90k + OTE + Equity
Hybrid, London 1 day a week + Global Travel 30% of the year (as required)

This DeepTech Retail AI startup are looking to hire their very first Senior Account Executive, who will possess demonstrable B2B Enterprise experience and entrepreneurial flair. Working directly with the VP of Sales, you will build the commercial team from the ground-up!

The role
As the first AE hire for this high-growth business, you will be managing a 360-degree commercial role, where you will be required to hunt new business, close the client, and then keep them as an account to nurture thereafter. Your role will also involve the client retention/up-sell of an allocated list of existing key accounts.

Reporting into the VP of Sales, you will work closely together, alongside the sales engineers, customer success, and pre-sales teams. This is not a siloed position, as such a collaborative and energetic individual is required!

About You:
Passionate about bleeding-edge technologies and thrive in a fast-paced startup, whilst having the experience to navigate a complex B2B Enterprise environment.

Understanding complex stakeholder management (often dealing with innovation teams, through to procurement & finance teams), you will be required to have experience of navigating multi-million dollar contracts, upsells and extensions.

Minimum requirements:
B2B Enterprise Sales experience within SaaS
Experience working within a DeepTech startup
Extensive evidence of winning new clients AND retaining them (delivering post sale QBR’s/reporting/up-selling new features/products/retention)
Past sales success within the Retail sector is advantageous
Familiarity of working within the AI/ML ecosystem
Self-sufficient and incredibly results focused
Understands the early-stage landscape – you must be happy to get your hands dirty/get stuck-in!
Be able to attend the London office at least once/week + travel 30% of the year globally
