The Company Our client is a specialist construction financial software business whose platform helps contractors take control of project costs, procurement, invoices, budgets, forecasting and profitability. Following a recent acquisition by a major European software group, significant investment is now being made to accelerate growth in the UK. They are looking for a proven Senior Account Executive to play a key role in that expansion. This isn't simply another territory to manage. You'll be joining at the beginning of a major new phase of UK growth, with the opportunity to influence the go-to-market strategy and, for the right person, build and lead a UK sales team as the business scales. The Opportunity The platform gives construction businesses real-time visibility and control over project finances, replacing spreadsheets and disconnected processes with a single, integrated solution. You'll take ownership of new business opportunities, running the complete sales process from discovery and demonstration through to commercial negotiation and close. You'll work with construction business owners, commercial directors, quantity surveyors and finance teams, helping them understand how better control of project costs can directly improve commercial performance. You'll also have the opportunity to: Play a central role in an ambitious UK growth strategy Work closely with senior leadership and influence how the UK operation develops Benefit from established lead-generation support while developing your own strategic opportunities Join a business backed by significant investment from a larger European software group Progress towards sales leadership as the UK team grows The Person Relevant construction financial software experience is essential. We are specifically interested in people who have sold software covering areas such as: Job costing and project financials Budget and cost control Procurement and committed costs CVR and forecasting Project profitability Construction accounting or ERP Critically, your experience must include selling the financial/cost-management element of a construction software solution. General construction technology experience alone will not be enough. You'll also be able to demonstrate a strong sales record, confidence running software demonstrations and a consultative approach to complex B2B sales. This is a remote role covering opportunities across the UK , with occasional travel and the expectation of some interaction with a future London office as the UK operation develops.
