True Story Senior Account Manager
We are an independent brand and customer experience creative agency,

specialising in physical and digital creative experiences for retailers and brand owners that translate into measurable commercial results.

We’re looking for a senior account manager to join our team on a key account in which we are lead agency for a major retailer in the wellness sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to be working with our client as we have an established and proactive relationship with them. Your enthusiasm, energy and expertise in creating all-channel campaigns in a fast paced environment, underpinned by impeccable project management skills will be key.
You'll have a collaborative approach in your relationships with our client, other agency partners and 3 rd

parties and within our own team, working hand in hand with creatives to deliver brilliantly briefed work that is professionally managed throughout. We have a 'one team' approach that values everyone's input to achieve the best results for our clients, so you will have a voice and be welcome to use it!
You will be responsible for managing the full marketing mix that includes TV, film and radio, print and OOH and all paid, earned and owned social channels.
Your previous experience in client engagement will be critical to success in the role as will your ability to drive the commercial agenda with clarity and transparency to ensure our client is fully aware of the impact of the work we’re doing and its potential to drive their business success.

Ideally, we’re looking for 5+ years’ experience working in marketing focussed account management role either agency or client side. Experience of retail or retail clients, advertising and digital marketing would be a clear advantage.
A capable and well organised project manager who can work calmly and with good humour under pressure and at pace, with proven project management experience across the full marketing mix. A background in digital production and delivery is a key requirement.
You should understand the creative process and have the ability to manage multi- platform creative through the studio .The work requires genuine end to end creative and production know how.
The ability to develop presentations and deliver them with engagement and empathy is an important skill that speaks to our ethos of developing a strong working partnership with clients.
So, on a personal level we need confidence and self-assurance from the successful candidate together with effective communication and listening skills. Your positive approach and ability to seek and spot opportunities and then take them will be welcomed as will your ability to work effectively as part of the wider True Story team.

Key Criteria and Skills



Proven track record in client management--- already experienced in working as a senior


Digital advertising experience necessary from creation through to production.


Capacity to work collaboratively to build strong relationships with client and 3

rd

parties and the True Story creative team.


Attention to detail. careful meticulous planning--- involved in high profile and big budget media spend .


Opportunity to be involved in creation through to production( film and photography )


Ability to use experience for calm level headed thinking and manage ambiguity to assist the client in their planning and thinking.


Hands on role that someone who enjoys rolling their sleeves up and getting organised will relish.


Confident, driven to succeed and

support the client

director as fully as possible. Keen to take on responsibility


Ability to work at pace and with diligence--- deadlines can be tight and we have to be agile to meet shifting deadlines yet without error.


Visible gravitas and the ability to influence, persuade and manage the client relationship with independent thinking and in pursuit of client team goals together with an ability to work collaboratively

with the Client

director.


Technical literacy (ability to read digital press and OOH specs) to support the production process is critical to the role.
