We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager in the West Midlands who will oversee the ongoing delivery of multiple water treatment and hygiene contracts, while seeking to retain and grow the value of the accounts for WCS Group over time. Whilst this role will not require someone to service any sites going forward, technical experience and knowledge is essential.
Duties-
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day account management of multiple water treatment and hygiene accounts.
• Support setup of contract delivery at the beginning of new contracts
• Respond to ongoing client requests and compliance issues in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor operational performance and raise any issues with the delivery team as required
• Monitor financial KPIs and take actions with accounts as required to attempt to ensure all remains on budget
• Conduct quarterly account reviews to identify potential reasons for account loss and up/cross-sell opportunities
• Negotiate contract renewals with accounts
• Contact lost accounts to test interest in re-engaging
• Achieve personal sales budget
• Proven track record in account management
• Proven sales skills demonstrating ability to deliver targets
• Experience of building strong relationships with customers
• Good presentation, planning and organisational skills
• Experience in water hygiene and water treatment is essential, including a working knowledge of the HSG274 guidance
* The ability to carry out analytical service visits for steam boilers, closed systems, cooling towers and effluent would be beneficial
*The ideal candidate must also be self-motivated, possess strong IT skills, ideally be familiar with CRM / digital quoting platforms and consistently work to a high standard
