Senior Accountant

A highly reputable and medium sized accountancy practice based in Central London are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Offering a competitive salary range of circa £40-50k, fully covered transport costs, onsite breakfast and lunch, 22 days holiday with option to buy more, and much more

This position is well suited to someone part qualified or fully qualified, with experience as a Senior Accountant, who is still fairly early in their career, with excellent ambitions

• Accounts preparation and review - preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Tax compliance - oversee the preparation and submission of VAT and corporation tax returns
• Client Management - Acting as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients handling queries, and offering advisory services
• Team supervision - Mentor and review the work of junior accountants and trainees
• Advisory services - Providing proactive tax planning and financial advice to clients to optimise their financial position

• Part ACCA/ACA qualified or ACCA/ACA fully qualified
• A minimum of 3 years accountancy practice experience
• Must be ambitious, enthusiastic, and highly personable, to collaborate with a vibrant team
• Experience in a similar position, with experience working within a portfolio of clients, within accounts & tax prep and review
• Must be able to commute into Central London
• No requirement for visa sponsorship

• Competitive salary wholly dependent on experience. Basic guide is £40,000-50,000
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus your birthday off, and option to purchase additional holiday

• Mon-Fri 7am-16:30 pm - salary can be adjusted to suit the 45 hour week
