Senior Accountant

A leading firm of Accountants, who are people and clients service focused are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their friendly team in Preston, paying a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 depending upon experience. This role would suit someone who is ACA/ACCA qualified or working towards this qualification.

To be successful as a Senior Accountant you will......

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified or working towards it
• Have experience in a similar role providing accounts preparation, tax, PAYE and Vat services
• Have experience of using cloud accounting software, preferably Xero
• Be quality focused with excellent customer service skills
• Experience developing and mentoring juniors

Your responsibilities as a Senior Accountant will include......

• Preparing client paperwork (Accounts, Tax, PAYE and VAT)
• Recording chargeable time and ensuring billable hours can be recovered
• Ensuring day-to-day client files are completed correctly
• Supporting junior members of the team
