£80,000 + Pension + Parking

This is a brilliant opportunity for a hardworking Senior Accountant to join a highly professional local organisation where there will be plenty of responsibility and opportunities to progress.

Some of your duties will include:

- Managing the finance and accounting function on a day to day basis and supervising the accounts team

- Overseeing the day to day management of the sales, purchase and nominal ledgers to trial balance level

- Managing the credit control function, chasing overdue accounts and minimising the risk of bad debt

- Completing daily bank reconciliations and preparing cash flow forecasts for the Directors

- Collating payroll data and forwarding to outsourced Agency, processing monthly PAYE payments

- Calculating and producing quarterly VAT returns and processing online payments to HMRC
