Interim Senior Finance Consultant (Senior Accountant / Finance Lead)
Location: Bristol (c.3 days per week in-office)
Contract: 3-month full-time interim contract
Start: ASAP
Parking: On-site available
Company Size: ~120 employees A fast-growing Bristol-based software business with a market-leading product and strong revenues is looking for a senior finance professional to support its internal turnaround efforts.
Role Overview:
You'll join an established finance team of three and take a hands-on role in improving financial processes, enhancing reporting, and leading forecasting efforts.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and implement an integrated financial forecast model (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet) from scratch
Establish monthly tracking of performance vs. forecast
Overhaul and improve internal reporting to the Board and parent company
Collaborate across the business to deliver clear, actionable financial insights
Identify ways to improve profitability and cash flow
Support year-end financial processes (June year-end), as needed

Ideal Profile:

Proven experience building forecast models and improving management reporting
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
Background in turnaround situations or profit improvement is highly desirable
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-evolving business with minimal existing forecasting infrastructure

Additional Info:

10-minute drive from Bristol Parkway Station
Immediate availability preferred; flexibility for someone to start within a couple of weeks
