An outstanding firm of Chartered Accountants in Tunbridge Wells is on the lookout for their newest member of the senior team to look after a portfolio of clients and manage the accounts team.

Responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):

• Providing accounting, tax, and business advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Assist clients with tax planning, cash flow forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Prepare and review year-end financial statements in line with UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Assist with some audit work where necessary
• VAT returns, corporation tax computations, and personal tax filings.
• Review and finalise work completed by junior staff, providing training and mentoring.
• Liaise with HMRC on tax queries, compliance matters, and regulatory changes.

A successful candidate for this position does not need to be fully qualified but needs to be able to demonstrate good leadership skills and a driven mindset. Any qualifications will be reflected in salary.

Salary is up to £50,000 + bonus + benefits. Higher salaries can be discussed.
