Senior Accountant

An established and growing accountancy practice near Tunbridge Wells l is on the lookout for a capable and experienced Senior Accountant to join the team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to lead, support others, and make a real impact in a relaxed and collaborative working environment.

The Role:
This is a hands-on senior position designed to support the Partners with:

• Reviewing and preparing complex sets of accounts
• Completing VAT returns
• Direct client communication and relationship management
• Supervising and mentoring a skilled team of accountants
• Ensuring timely submission of accounts and tax returns
• Using IRIS software for accounts production

Who They're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you'll need to:

• Be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACAA) with strong accounts experience
• Be confident in leading and supporting a team
• Likely bring a mature and steady approach to your work
• Be approachable, professional, and capable of fostering a positive team culture
• (Bonus if you’ve used IRIS, but not essential)

Hours & Benefits:

• 9am – 5pm
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 25 days with service
