Senior Accountant

We our working on a retained basis with our established financial services client specialising in funds and trusts management who are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their professional team in Sevenoaks.

About the Role: This Senior Accountant position offers an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within the financial services sector. As our new Senior Accountant, you'll be responsible for preparing comprehensive accounts for our funds and trusts portfolio whilst managing and mentoring junior members of our financial services team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare complete sets of accounts in accordance with FRS102 from scratch using our specialist software
• Corporation Tax return preparation and submission for funds and trusts clients
• Review and supervise other team members' accounts and CT returns
• Manage and develop junior staff within our financial services department
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of funds and trusts clients
• Ensure compliance with financial services regulations and reporting standards

Essential Requirements:

• Proven ability to prepare FRS102 compliant accounts from scratch
• Extensive experience with Corporation Tax return preparation and submission
• Experience managing and reviewing team member's work
• Strong background in similar financial services environment with portfolio client exposure
• ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar professional qualification desirable
• Ideally proficient in Xero software
