We’re recruiting exclusively on behalf of a modern, values-driven accountancy practice based in the West Yorkshire / Harrogate area. With a company-wide 4-day working week already in place (with no salary sacrifice), they are leading the way in creating a better experience for both clients and their people.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted point of contact
• Preparing year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Producing monthly/quarterly management accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
• Reviewing work from junior team members and supporting their development
• Collaborating with internal teams and external advisors to ensure deadlines are met
• Building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to support clients further

What You’ll Need:

• ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or equivalent
• Extensive working experience in a UK accountancy practice environment
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, tax, and compliance standards
• Experience preparing year-end accounts and management information
• Good working knowledge of cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Great communication skills and a collaborative, client-first mindset
