The successful Senior Accountant will take on a varied and rewarding role, managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors (or supporting towards this, depending on experience). You'll work closely with decision-makers, helping them to interpret their numbers and make informed financial decisions. As the firm continues to grow, there will be plenty of opportunity to broaden your skill set, get involved in advisory projects, and help shape the future of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of year-end accounts, personal and business tax computations, ensuring all work meets regulatory and internal standards.
• Act as a main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, delivering exceptional service while building strong, trusted relationships.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members, supporting their development and reviewing their work.
• Support a range of clients with transitioning to Cloud Accounting.
• Get involved in business development, attending networking events and seeking out opportunities to grow the firm's client base.

What the client is looking for:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification) or QBE.
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice
• Confident working with cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero and QuickBooks.
• Proven ability to manage or support on a portfolio of clients and build effective working relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
