Job Description - Senior Accountant

A top 20 firm based in South Leeds are seeking a proactive and technically strong Senior Accountant to join our Accounts team. Reporting to the Head of Accounts, this role will give you ownership of complex accounting assignments across a variety of clients.

As a Senior Accountant you will:

Partner with our clients, offering tailored advice on to streamline accounting processes.
Cultivate long-lasting relationships with our clients.
Prepare year-end financial statements.
Calculate corporation tax and personal tax liabilities and offer tax planning ideas.
Work alongside managers and other departments to support the overall delivery of services.
Wow clients daily, getting to know their business to deliver great experience.
Lead, coach and develop the accounts trainees.

The ideal candidate must be:

Be ACA / ACCA qualified, with practice experience.
Have worked on a range of clients, including owner-managed businesses.
Be tech-savvy, with a knowledge of CCH desirable.
Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
Love getting to know people and be a fantastic communicator.
