Senior Accountant

We are currently representing a well-established accountancy practice based in Rotherham, seeking a newly qualified Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP for a varied client base
• Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing guidance
• Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong client relationships
• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and providing advice to clients
• Liaising with HMRC and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Identifying and implementing improvements to client processes and procedures

Key Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA newly qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and UK tax laws
• Experience of working in a practice environment
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
