Senior Accountant – Windsor | £45,000 - £55,000 + Study Support | Hybrid (3:2 split)

The Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional service to a broad and interesting portfolio of SME clients. This is a well-rounded role offering both responsibility and variety, including:

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations

• Managing the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts

• Supporting and mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work

• Managing client queries and advising on accounting treatments, tax planning, and compliance

• Overseeing bookkeeping tasks and working across platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, and FreeAgent

• Collaborating with partners and managers on client development and business advisory projects

• Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and technical updates to maintain high standards of service

This is not a rigid or siloed role—you’ll be encouraged to get involved in all areas of the practice as your confidence and skills grow.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for practice accounting. You’ll ideally bring:

• A strong background in accountancy practice (3+ years)

• ACCA/ACA qualified, or finalist (qualified by experience also considered)

• Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax rules, and VAT

• Experience using cloud-based accounting systems

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Confident client-facing communication skills

• A team-player attitude—someone who thrives in a collaborative, fun, and high-performing environment
