Senior Accountant

A leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their friendly and high-performing team. With a strong focus on staff development, regular 1:1s, and a collaborative culture, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or finalist ACA/ACCA professional with a passion for audit and client service.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values both attitude and skill. The role involves leading audits and supporting junior staff, while also contributing to the preparation and review of accounts and tax returns.

• Lead audits for limited companies, charities, academies, and clubs
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Prepare complex accounts and tax returns
• Review simpler accounts and tax returns
• Assist partners with portfolio management
• Contribute to the training and development of trainees

• ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist
• Minimum 3 years’ audit experience in a practice environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
