Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you'll attend to the financial affairs and provide niche, bespoke specialist advice to these high-profile clients. From day one, you will start building relationships and expand on your wider technical knowledge, with the potential to gain involvement complex advisory focused projects.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for ensuring their accounts, corporate tax & VAT returns and any ad-hoc reporting is prepared to a high standard and on a timely basis
• Work with the clients directly to understand their requirements and identify areas where more detailed advice may be required
• Supervising a handful of juniors, developing and providing feedback to aid their professional development

Requirements:

• A qualified accountant, ACA / ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent, as well as those deemed qualified by experience (QBE) with previous experience from within an accountancy practice
• Previous experience of reviewing statutory and non-statutory accounts as well as VAT and corporation tax returns
• Strong knowledge and application of software packages including Sage, QuickBooks or Xero
• Excellent teamwork and organisational skills
