THE OPPORTUNITY

A Senior Accountant position has arisen within the firm which offers responsibility for managing clients, reviewing work completed by junior staff and overseeing delivery of the firm's bespoke solutions.

As a Senior Accountant your role will involve:

• Working with clients to fully understand and meet their needs, ensuring client satisfaction and generating more work from existing clients
• Preparing management accounts, self assessments, work papers, year end accounts and corporation tax returns for review
• Reviewing management accounts, self assessment tax returns and VAT returns prepared by Accounts Assistants and Trainee Client Advisors
• Assisting with Audit
• Supporting the client onboarding process
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure information is collected, and client queries are responded to in a timely manner

THE PERSON

You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

• ACCA / ACA Qualified/ Qualified by Experience
• Background within Accountancy Practice (c.3+ years)
• Experience of Bookkeeping, Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts
• Experience of working with SME and Owner-Managed businesses
• Good working knowledge of Xero and possibly other online / cloud accounting software
