Senior Accountant

This firm offers a full range of services including accounts, audit, taxation, financial advisory, and business consultancy to a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs. Known for its personable, down-to-earth approach and strong client relationships, the practice takes pride in delivering tailored solutions and proactive support across all aspects of financial and business management. Due to continued growth and internal progression, they are now seeking a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team on a full-time, permanent basis.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial accounts for a range of clients across various industries. Typically FRS 102 accounts ranging from £2 million to £20 million.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing professional advice and support tailored to their specific needs.
• Delegate tasks effectively to junior team members, review their work to ensure accuracy, and provide guidance to aid their professional development.
• Present completed accounts to partners, ensuring all relevant details and insights are clearly communicated.
• Prepare corporation tax computations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and deadlines.
• Assist clients with queries related to cloud accounting software, offering troubleshooting and training as needed to enhance their financial management processes.

• Qualified/ Finalist in ACA/ACCA/ICAEW
• Competent using cloud-based software
• Audit experience preferred but not essential

• £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependant on skills and experience)
• Working hours: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
• Holiday Package: 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
