I have recently partnered on a new vacancy with an up-and-coming progressive firm based in Brentwood in their search for a Senior Accountant to join a friendly and growing team. This is a role that has become available due to a period of rapid growth, therefore, highlighting the ample progression opportunities available.

In this role you will:

As a Senior Accountant, your role involves reviewing the accounts prepared by junior colleagues, offering them guidance and support to help them develop their skills. You'll be the point of contact for clients, answering their questions, gathering information for account preparation, and assisting with management accounts for larger clients. Part of your responsibility includes training clients on new accounting software and advising them on maintaining accurate records. If you're interested, there's also an opportunity to work on audit projects. Additionally, you'll be responsible for preparing corporate tax returns and coordinating with the tax department and HMRC to ensure compliance.
