The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements, year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, and VAT returns. You’ll also support and mentor junior staff, review their work, and act as a key point of contact for your clients—ensuring a high level of service and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing and submitting VAT and corporation tax returns
• Supporting clients with queries and providing sound financial advice
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and offering mentorship
• Assisting with workflow management and internal reporting
• Liaising directly with clients, HMRC, and other stakeholders as needed
