Senior Accountant in Practice

Senior Accountant | South West London | £65,000 – £70,000

Join a thriving, forward-thinking accountancy firm with two London offices. Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Accountant ready to take on a key leadership role—bringing expertise, initiative, and energy to their growing team.

The Role: Make It Yours

• Oversee daily operations and workflow across both offices

• Support and lead both UK-based and offshore teams

• Be the trusted advisor for a broad client base spanning media, property, consultancy, hospitality, and more

• Review statutory accounts, CT600s, VAT returns, and SATRs

• Liaise with HMRC on compliance and disclosures

• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development

You Bring:

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)

• Well-rounded general practice experience—Ltd companies, VAT, CIS & personal tax

• Proven leadership or supervisory skills

• Confident with QuickBooks and Xero (TaxCalc a plus)

• Comfortable tackling complex tax matters, including HNWIs and non-doms

• Commercially minded, detail-driven, and hands-on
