Senior Accountant - Practice - Hybrid

This dynamic, multi-partner practice enjoyed an outstanding 2024 and continues to thrive where others have not. As a result, it is seeking a skilled Accountant to join its growing team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior colleagues and support the department with bookkeeping, VAT, and some payroll responsibilities. You will also serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing essential support while benefiting from the mentorship of an experienced senior team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Account reviews
• Managing VAT returns
• Providing tax advice and assistance as needed

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified - may consider finalist or QBE
• At least two years of experience in a similar role
• Highly organised with strong communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
