Senior Accountant / Supervisor

Job Title: Senior Accounts Supervisor
Location: York City Centre
Type: Full time & hybrid
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

As a Senior Accounts Supervisor, you’ll manage workflows and support the Accounts and Bookkeeping team to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of services. You’ll coordinate tasks across teams, oversee accounts and VAT processes, and support junior staff.

Requirements
• Strong experience in bookkeeping and account preparation
• Proficiency in Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and FreeAgent
• Confident workflow management and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of VAT rules; some income tax knowledge helpful
