Senior Accountant to Manager

We are actively recruiting for a job opportunity with a well-respected Accountancy firm and business advisors in Peterborough, seeking to hire a professional and open to that being anywhere from Senior Accountant through to Manager grade.

The job itself can be more focused on accounts or a blend of Audit & Accounts, dependent on your experience and preference.

The salary is negotiable, will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason. The job can be available with hybrid working and flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake moderate to large accounts preparation assignments, including preparation of accompanying tax computations.
• Prepare personal and partnership self-assessment tax returns.
• Produce monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns, along with associated bookkeeping, for a range of clients.

If you join at a Manager grade, the following will also be included:

• Manage and support a team of staff at varying experience levels
• Workflow oversight and staff allocation
• File reviews, Staff development and mentoring

Client Work -

• Completion and finalisation of accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Lead audits for larger limited company clients
• Act as key contact for client communications and queries
• Provide guidance on personal tax matters
