Senior Accounts Assistant

We are pleased to be working with an excellent financial services company located in Huddersfield who are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Submit Company Tax Returns
• Prepare Personal Tax Returns for a variety of individuals
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping
• Prepare VAT returns for assigned clients
• Work with leading cloud-based software such as Xero and Quick Books
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships

Skills:

• Minimum of 5 year's experience working in an accounts department (Industry or Practice)
• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience
• Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books, or similar
• Strong communication skills - able to speak clearly with clients and colleagues
