Senior Accounts Assistant

Marks Sattin working with a well-established business that's looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join their friendly and fast-paced finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid finance experience who's ready to take on more responsibility and grow their career.

Based near Wetherby, they are looking for a candidate to work closely with the Finance Manager with day-to-day transactional duties and support with some month end duties.

For this role they will pay up to £40,000 on a full-time basis. This role is office based also.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Handling bank reconciliations and reviewing transactions
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
• Preparing VAT returns, expense reports, and journals
• Keeping financial records accurate and up to date
• Helping the Finance Manager and Financial Controller with reporting and budgeting

Requirements

• AAT Level 4 or similar qualification
• Previous experience in a finance role
• Great attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Comfortable using Excel and financial software
