Senior Accounts Assistant

This well-established manufacturing company in Haslingden is going through an exciting period of growth and expansion. With a solid reputation in their industry and a down-to-earth, friendly team, they’re now looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support their busy finance function.

You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team and taking ownership of a varied workload, including:

• Processing weekly and monthly payroll
• Managing CIS payments and submissions
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations and managing multiple accounts
• Posting journals and assisting with accruals and prepayments
• Maintaining the general ledger and supporting with month-end duties
• Raising and processing sales and purchase invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and handling queries
• Supporting with reporting and internal process improvements

Your profile:

• Have experience in a similar all-round accounts role
• Be confident with payroll and VAT
• Ideally, have some knowledge of CIS
• Be friendly, approachable, and a team player
• Be hands-on and happy to get stuck in where needed

What you’ll get:

• Salary up to £32,000
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
