Senior Accounts Assistant

RG Consultancy are working with a well-established nationwide business who are looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Assistant at their Head Office in Stockport. The Role

• To manage and maintain all aspects of sales and purchase ledger
• Raising and issuing sales involves
• Responsibility for the daily banking
• Credit control, collecting monthly direct debits
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT Returns
• Processing payroll
• Assist with year end and audit preparation
• To assist with monthly management accounts and work closely with the management accountant

The Person

• Fully AAT qualified or working towards
• A well-established accounts assistant who has worked within an accountancy/finance role previous
• Experience within a senior role is desirable but not essential
• Slight exposure to management accounts and wanting to gain more experience
• Responding to client and customer quires in a professional manner
• Assisting with identifying improvements within current company systems
• Any other general administrative tasks
• Experience with SAGE 50 is an advantage
