Sheridan Maine is seeking a skilled Senior Accounts Manager to take ownership of financial reporting, team leadership, and strategic support at an established and growing business in London. This is a hands-on role ideal for a proactive and commercially-minded professional ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
-Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
-Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
-Maintain and enhance internal financial controls.
-Liaise with auditors and external advisors.
-Manage client relationships and deliver financial insights to stakeholders.
-Identify process improvements and drive efficiency across finance functions.

Requirements:
-ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting role.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards and reporting requirements.
-Advanced Excel and financial software skills.
-Strong commercial acumen and communication abilities.
