Senior accounts payable clerk

GBN are looking for someone who has senior level experience in a busy accounts office within the UK. 

Preference will be given to someone who has worked for a freight/logistics company. If they have used software like Multi freight and/or Open Accounts systems then that would be ideal.

The position involves:

• Liaising with clients and foreign agents
• Reconciling statements in the Multifreight/OpenAccounts system
• Making payments to suppliers
• Filing
• General office duties
• Accuracy, attention to detail
• Ability to work in a busy environment
• Good data entry speed are important in this role.

Hours are 08:30-17:30 but you will be required to do some overtime when required.
