SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT - £45,000 to £50,000 + Benefits - Manchester (Renewables Focused)

A specialist acoustic and environmental consultancy is seeking a SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT to join its growing Manchester office, with a focus on renewable energy projects. This is a rare opportunity to join a technical team led by some of the UK's top acousticians, offering expert guidance on wind farms, solar developments, and complex environmental noise projects.

As a SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT, you'll manage end-to-end delivery of renewable energy schemes, from initial noise surveys through to detailed noise modelling, reporting, and stakeholder liaison. You'll also mentor junior team members and contribute to best-practice consultancy work across the UK's clean energy transition.

We are looking for a SENIOR ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT with:

• A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, or related field

• 4-7 years' experience in environmental acoustics, particularly in renewable energy

• Proficiency in noise modelling (e.g. CadnaA, SoundPLAN)

• Strong report writing and stakeholder communication skills

• Project leadership or mentoring experience

• Full UK driving licence
