Band 3 Administrator – Healthcare Call Centre (4-Week Temporary Assignment)
We are currently recruiting Band 3 Administrative Colleagues to join our busy Healthcare Call Centre team on a 4-week temporary assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced administrators and customer service professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering outstanding support to patients and healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle incoming telephone calls professionally, efficiently, and with empathy.
* Deliver excellent customer service while supporting patients and service users.
* Accurately update patient records and internal systems.
* Manage confidential patient information in line with data protection requirements.
* Carry out a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the service.
* Work effectively as part of a busy, supportive healthcare team.
Essential Requirements
* Excellent telephone handling and customer service skills.
* Strong general administrative experience.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A compassionate and empathetic approach to callers.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Previous telephone or call centre experience.
* Experience using SystmOne.
* NHS Smartcard.
* Previous experience working within the NHS or a healthcare environment.
Working Hours
* 37.5 hours per week
* Service operating hours: 8:00am – 8:00pm, Monday to Sunday
* Preferred shift patterns:
* 8:00am – 4:00pm
* 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Locations
* Swindon (Orbital)
* Peasedown (Bath & North East Somerset)
